Information Sessions

The Information Session is mandatory for all potential prospective caregivers. Families approved by other states are required to have the fundamental information needed to consider fostering or adopting in Georgia. The Information Session provides a basic introduction of applicable policy to assist interested parties in making an initial decision about becoming a foster or adoptive parent. Subsequently, you can determine whether to continue the process or select out. The Information Session may be completed within a scheduled group setting or individually with families unable to participate in the group process.
